Arrivée is the term used in Laeral to refer to Laeralites of French (or other white) ethnic descent. 23% of Laeralites identify solely as Arrivée. The word Arrivée literally means "arrivals" or "the arrived" in French. A derogatory term used for Arrivée is 'gweilo', meaning literally 'pale ghosts'. Arrivée are typically Catholic or non-religious, and tend to live in the eastern regions of Laeral and speak French.
