Philip was born in 1730 to the King Vincent V as second in line to the throne. His father died in 1721 leaving his older brother to become Vincent VI, however he died aged 23, passing away on the twelth of November of 1743. On the fourteenth, two days after his brother's death, he was crowned as King of Produzland, King of Azlorrace, King of Aenicioa, King of Galicioa, King of Portuaria, King of Cadascun, King of the Rodaves, King of the Aloisian Islands, King of Calica, Duke of Sundrescia, Duke of Aenioestia, Duke of Aatream, Duke of San Aurelio, Duke of Lisover, Duke of Bresbon, Duke of Lentamria, Duke of Lagoza, Count of Brisa Através, Count of Desgosto, Count of Lugo, Count of Ceneturas, and Count of Cojazeira. He held his position for sixty-eight years.

His reign was marked by political change and the rise of democracy in Produzland, as previous to his installment of the Parlamento and the constitution of 1777, Produzland has been an autocracy for as long as it's been a country. These came about after the Produese were mostly kicked out of the Ilhas de São Sandro and lost both Novo Aenícioa and Senãles Alto e Baixo to Carelia. The losses also lead directly to Philip dissolving the Produese Gulf Company in and selling Comona in 1796 and 1798 respectively.

Despite his military losses, he remembered as one of the better Produese monarchs as the constitution he created and the Parlamento are still in use today and he was one of the first monarchs in Lira to willingly bring democratic ideas into his court and he brought about a new age in Produzland after the devastating Great Aatream Earthquake of 1768.

Early Life and Education

Philip II was born in Lavoeira Palace into one of the richest families in the world, the royal family of Produzland to King Vincent V of Produzland and the sister of the king of Achkadia, and brother of the future king of Produzland, Vincent VI, and as a result Philip's younger brother would become the king of Achkadia in the future.
