Montrose (Irish: Cruadhach Rois) is a principality in eastern Maltropia. With a population of over 26 million, Montrose is the most populous principality in the state. It is Maltropia's eleventh largest principality, covering 111,931 square kilometres. Its capital city is Ivory.
It is bounded to the north by An Sord and Argalium, to the east by Espin and to the south by the Angle. It is separated from Tyrmidra to the southwest by Na hÍsle, extensive sand flats, and the Lisdare Fjord and fronts the Bay of Bayname to the west. Its coastal regions are flat and fertile and are cultivated intensely, while further from the sea the land rises to steep peaks of the Ardawns and the East Peninsular Range.
