Asta Kaarina Marita Kissa, or Princess Asta II of Kissankyla, was born on September 24th, 1997. She became Princess on a cold Christmas Eve, with her mother having been on her deathbed and long been expected to pass at any moment. Her coronation was the following day and has ruled since. Many note that in her short reign so far, she is remarkably more vocal and hands on than many of her predecessors. Many suspect this is due to a shift in mindset just before the assassination attempt of her mother.
Early Life
Reign
Coronation
At her coronation, many precedents were broken given the nature of the ascension. Princess Asta renounced her commitment to the national religion in lieu of The New Faith, and wore all black in remembrance of her mother and make-up resembling streams of tears to mark the sad occasion of which she has become the Crown Princess. It was one of the longest ceremonies as it was meant to be a vigil to her mother.
