Though varied religious communities exist in Pharexia, 95% of Pharexians adhere to Ilyçisianism. Within this, the largest grouping is the Church of Pharexia: approximately 8-in-10 identified themselves with that denomination in 2019. Members of the Church of Pharexia have very high church attendance rates compared to members of both other religions and other Ilyçisian churches, with 78% regularly attending church services in 2017. Throughout history, religion in Pharexia has been characterized by a diversity of religious beliefs and practices, and has been an important part of the country's culture. Religious diversity and religious tolerance are both established in the country by the law and custom; the Canon of Prosperity and Fidelity has declared the right to freedom of religion to be a fundamental right.

Ilyçisianism

Ilyçisianism is the most adhered to religion in Pharexia, with 95% of those polled identifyed themselves as Ilyçisians in 2019. This is up slightly from the 90% recorded in 1960. About 80% of those who identify as Ilyçisian are members of the Church of Pharexia, with the remaining 20% members of either the Reformed or Sigógót churches. Pharexia has the largest Ilyçisians population in the world, although smaller countries have higher percentages of Ilyçisians among their populations.

Church of Pharexia

The Church of Pharexia, officially the Ilyçisian Church of Pharexia is the largest Ilyçisian Church in both Pharexia and in the world. It is the officially-established church of Pharexia. The church is headquartered in Dijúpivogur, the capitol city of Uxbridbury, and has established congregations and built temples througout Pharexia. According to the church, it has over 7.5 million members and 10,000 full-time volunteer missionaries. Both men and women may serve as missionaries and the church maintains a large missionary program that proselytizes and conducts humanitarian services country-wide.

The Church professes the Orthodox branch of Ilyçisianism and is the largest Ilyçisian church in the world by net membership. It is lead by ten Ministers, with one presiding over each ward of Pharexia. One of the ten Ministers serves as Provost (Pharexian: presturprimē) of the Church. The current Provost is Brynjar Finnsson.

The Church is universally known for its more conservative approach to interpreting doctrine.
