Elections to the Legislative Council were held in Alscia on 19 May 1928. The Donatella Rossetti government was re-elected with its greatest majority. The only opposition candidates to win a seat were PdL leader Beatrice Albini and independent market anarchist Lucretia Pecunia Mercator.
Although the government secured a supermajority, the results showed the left SP–SDP bloc gaining at the expense of the liberal NUP–NLP–PRRA bloc within the FPP.
