Elections to the Legislative Council were held in Alscia on 21 May 1932. The Donatella Rossetti government was re-elected, losing six seats from its high water-mark of 1928.
The much larger swings in first preference votes compared to prior elections caused this election to be nicknamed la frana ("the landslide").
Within the FPP, the liberal parties (NUP, NLP, and PRRA) continued losing ground to the left parties (SP and SDP).
In the final count, the PdL won a majority in the comuni of Castelrosso, Villanova, Iárus, and Kuas.
This election marked the highest number of first preference votes the PFA ever received at a general election, although their highest percentage was in 1924.
