Speirsland (/spirs land/), officially the Greater Commonwealth of Speirsland and commonly referred to as the GCS is a sovereign state and unitary parliamentarian democracy, with Elderpointe as its capital and Wolf Laurel as its largest city. It is comprised of five constituent countries: Leura, Ganmain, Hexham, Kearsley and Nowra. Until 1701 CE, each of the five constituent states had their own measure of authority under devolved governments; since the collapse of the First Republic and the establishment of the Greater Commonwealth, all political authority has been derived from the central government in Elderpointe.
