Marine Corps Base Camp Deritter is the major East Coast base of the Ibican Marine Corps and is one of the largest Marine Corps bases in Ibica. It is on the Southern Cartier coast, in Deritter County, just outside of the city of Deritter.
The base was established in 1942 to train Marines for service. By October 1944, Camp Deritter was declared a "permanent installation" and by 1946, it became the home of the 1st Marine Division. Today it is the home to myriad Operating Force units including the I Marine Expeditionary Force and various training commands.
