The Labour aristocracy is a pejorative term given by the right-wing press to the left-wing political families of the Kingdom of Great Britain. Examples of these include the Khans such as Sir Alexander Khan and Muhammad Khan I (Kingdom of Great Britain) and the Rayners.

History

The term was first used in the right-wing broadsheets, being subsequently used by the right-wing tabloids.

The term is also used by the Socialist Workers Party for Sir Alexander Khan's inner circle, many of whom coming from working-class backgrounds.
