Crauenyn

Crauenyn is an inhabited astronomical object within the Imperial Sector of Telstein (Sectatus Imperialis Telstein) that is governed jointly by a local Imperial Commander and as part of the Ecclesiarchal Estate. While not common knowledge, it is also a Necrontyr Tomb World belonging to a dynasty whose name has long since passed from living memory. Crauenyn orbits the Hive Planet of Ilrakan, though it had been administratively independent of it for approximately four thousand standard terran years before the Cessation and continues to be so to the present day.

The name Crauenyn is derived from Chraueyn, which is a term in the Ilrakane dialect of Low Gothic meaning Place for the dead and which would be used roughly interchangeably with 'graveyard.'
