The Federal Nationalist Republic of Marasalia, commonly known as Marasalia, is a country located in Northern Quaria west of Parcia. It is composed of 17 states divided into three major regions. Marasalia is considered an "Ethno-superstate", being mostly comprised of Roman descendants. The capital is Parnatos and the most populous city is São Paba.

Native Quarians are estimated to have migrated into the region at least 12,000 years ago, and Roman expansion began in the 1st century BC. By 300BC, the Roman Empire had been repulsed by Quarian Natives and Latinate settlers. Latinate settlers began forming settlements, and repeatedly finding themselves at arms with the native population. By 1300, the Native population had been wiped from modern day Marasalia, and larger Latinate states began to form. It wouldn't be until 1793 that Marasalia would be formed after a civil war in Sao Baliska
