Juca Avaliani (Palian: José Avaliani de Ventana, 10 March 1771 - 22 May 1835), born José Avaliani (Rasmean: იოსებ ავალიანი Ioseb Avaliani) was a Palian and Sabarine statesman and military leader who flourished during the Great Upheaval. He was a key ally of Julián Nápoles, undertook numerous successful campaigns during the Palian Revolutionary Wars, served three non-consecutive terms as President of the First and Second Palian Republics, and reigned as Emperor of Sabaria, and Prince of Ventana, from 1821 to 1823. He is celebrated in Palia as a stalwart defender of democracy, and is considered to be the greatest military commanders of his time. His political legacy has made him a controversial yet famous figure in Auressian history.
