The Army of New Pangus represents the land forces of the New Pangus Defense Forces formed from various militia groups by Congress in 2015, during the Occupation of Pangus. The formation of these forces solidified Pangeian resolve to endure through the conflict and is the newest fighting force in Astyria.
Currently, the Army of New Pangus is currently engaged in operations on Insula Fera, notably fighting the Heraldan Rebels and assisting in the Greater Insula Feran Conflict.
The Aquitaynian Army encapsulates the spectrum of soldiers that engage in combat operations on the ground.
Mission
The Army of New Pangus serve as the only federally recognized contingent of the professional defense for New Pangus territories and property. The current constitution constitutes the Army's mission as:
- Preserving the peace and security of New Pangus territory and its people as far as deemed necessary by the President.
- Supporting the national policies of the President and Congress.
- Enforcing the national interests of New Pangus and its allies.
- Engaging in the active defense of New Pangus and its allies.
