Gatovita is the capital city of Vitosium. Founded in 1848 as Colburn, and incorporated as Gatovita in 1886, the city has evolved into the political centre of Vitosium. Gatovita has the most educated population among Vitosian cities.

Historical Buildings

Amongst the city's national museums and galleries is the Palacino House, which was the first city hall erected in 1848. There is also the National Gallery of Vitosium, which opened up in 1941. The city is also home to The Vitosium Agriculture Museum, the Vitosium War Memoriam Museum, the Parderosa Theater, and the current parliament building, Eligona Towers.
