Pervin (/ˈpɜːvɪn/), officially the Duchy of Pervin (Pervinian: Ducado do Pervino), is a sovereign island country located in the central Paisi Ocean. The country is home to 160,600 residents and its area is 1,825 square kilometres (704.64 square miles). Its most populous city is Porteira. The island contains the natural world heritage site, Salgueira National Park. Pervin is a popular holiday destination and a sizeable portion of the economy relies on tourism.
The country is governed under a form of absolute monarchy, with Duke Eliseu II as head of state and head of government. The House of Salmiento has ruled Pervin since 1289.
