George Smith is a retired Light Dragoons soldier and leader of the Newcastle-upon-Tyne Yeomanry.

Early life

Born on in a council estate in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne in August the 6th 1980, his father was an unemployed former miner and his mother was a teaching assistant at a school. He joined the Army at the age of 16 in 1996.

Military career

As a member of the Light Dragoons he was deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan and a peacekeeping mission in Somalia. Upon retirement in 2035 he had achieved the rank of Sergeant.

Newcastle-upon-Tyne Yeomanry

After the police shooting of Kev Garruthers (criminal) he formed the Newcastle-upon-Tyne Yeomanry (then called the Loyalist Volunteer Force) with 1,000 other Northumbrian loyalists.He lead the organisation until his disappearance.
