The Federation of Kurdistan is one of the two political entities that compose of the Republic of Kurdistan, the other being Assyria, Yazidistan, Lorestan, Ahwazistan and West Armenia. The Federation of Kurdistan consists of 5 autonomous regions run by a regional council.
