|Nation Description=
|Location= My nation is the Nation of Skyland. Skyland is located in Northern Europe near places such as Norway and Iceland. Skyland is known for its beautiful geogrophical feautures mainly including the Sky, such as the northern lights. It is cold most of the time up here! The beautiful scenary makes up for that! It is just a beautiful place to live! Even if you don't live here, you should visit!
|Goverment= Our Nation is a monarchy, ruled by queens and kings. It is an absolute monarchy because the leaders have the power. In the government of Skyland there are three branches of goverment. The legislauive branch makes laws. The judical branch enforces laws. The executive branch exucutes and enforces the laws. Making sure people follow the laws is the most important. Each branch needs to make sure people are following the set laws. It's importamt to make sure people live in an orderly fashion.
|Geography= Skyland is located in Northern Europe, closest to Norway and Iceland. It is quite chilly up there. It can cause changes in the vegetation and growing of crops. Skyland was formed because of its geographic features. Places around it are Iceland, Denmark and Norway. Their geographic feauters are mountains and plains. The most famous geographic feature in Skyland is the northern lights.
|Geography part 2= Other than the sky, more land geograpgy includes things such as many moutain ridges through Northern Europe. A popular mountain ridge are the Scandnavian Mountains, Jotunheimen Mountains, and Besseggen mountains. In Skyland some of those mountains may run across or near them. There are also grasslands and glaciers. The glaciers run in North Skyland and the Grassland in the South. The glaciers, grasslands and moutains do adjust to the weather. Since it is cold, they all adapt to that enviorment and so do the animals. Here, you will find artic fox, eagles, reindeers amd more cool animals that withstand the enviorment of Skyland.
|Etymology= Skyland's focus was geared towards the sky as one of the main points to be known for because of the many other sights we see through them. Skyland was formed because in Skyland we recongnize the beautiful and useful things that the sky and the world above brings instead of just focusing on the land. Through this, we remind our citizens that "their limits are sky high".
|Becoming a citizen= In Skyland, to become a member of the nation, you have to do a couple of important things. These things will allow you to become a legal citizen. First, you have to have a reason why you are coming to live here. The reason has to be a good reason that makes sense and fits under certain categories. These categories include being born here, marrying someone here, having parents here, getting a job here or are cuurently in danger in your country. Then you will take a test to make sure you know what you are expected to do as a citizen. Lastly, you will have an interview with the officals of the Naturilization Assembly of Skyland (NAS). Once you have proved to be a good potential citizen, you will then meet with the (NAS) one last time. This will make sure once and for all that you can become a legal citizen. If you have passed all of the requirements and haven proven the right of citizenship, you will then be deemed a legal citizen of Skyland.
|Skylands Military=The Military of Skyland runs mainly as most militaries are run. You can apply to join Skyland's military but you have to know the standards first! We are not in a military junta but the military does protect and serve our country. They will protect us from enemies and represent Skyland. They are in charge of defending our nation and overall keeping the citizens of Skyland safe. Oreo island, Queendom of Solom Goodness, Ihle de lue and Sky nation all are in partnership as trade allies. This includes sharing production of items in the trading industury as well as trading goods. The military and authority of our country make sure any trade allies or people who work with us, all work well and cease any difficulties or issues.
|Economy= In our nation, our economy is a mix of communism and capitulism. We have private companies, properties and other things. We also have many public things too! Things like the fire department and the police department are public to the citizens because they are a designated need to keep our citizens safe in case of an emergency. Things like certain schools are private. They aren't a neccessary need because there are public schools! Therefore, there are private schools that kids can attend.
|Skylands Policies= Overall our goal is to protect the citizens of Skyland as well as keeping them safe. To do all of these things, they must put in the work. They must cooperate with the laws and regulations that our country has for them in order to stay safe. On a daily basis, it is expected for the citizens to follow the laws and not to commit crimes. Any crimes that are committed or laws that are not followed will result in a punishment. As most countries, the citizens can apply for jobs and do any normal things that they would like to do. The main goal is to follow the rules and regulations set. With those rules in place, our country should run just fine. We will remain a happy and good country for anyone to live in!
