The Neurogenia line is touted as the forefront in anti-aging topical medications, and has been one of the highest recommended medications fr combating acne by doctors since it entered the human trail phase in 2009.

The 2014 launch of Neurogenia was led by a massive media campaign to gain footholds in foreign nations, including saturation campaigns across television, radio and satellite radio communications, as well as internet and social media campaigns. In 2013, ParaCell recruited actress Julie Marik as the primary spokeswoman for Neurogenia, signing a contract for over 35 different ads and commercial productions.

Many people have criticized both the company's selection of Marik as the product lines spokeswoman and the general tone of the ads; typically seen as implying a person who uses Neurogenia products will be successful in life, and those who do not will be shunned and ostracized by their peers. Critics state that this message is detrimental to the well-being and self-esteem of young adults, especially teenage females in the 13-19 age group. ParaCell corporate spokesmen deny allegations that their product line targets young adults.

Criticisms

Accusations of continued eugenics programs

Some critics of ParaCell claim the company is continuing the advancement of eugenics policies practiced by the medical community of Temuair during the early 1900's. While official eugenics programs were abandoned, and outlawed, in 1965, some critics claim the company's research into artificial insemination, preimplantation genetic diagnosis, embryo selection, gene theory, genetic engineering and cloning are continuations of the eugenics programs of the 1900's.

Accusations of unethical medical research and experimentation

In 2005, a study released by <some medical journal> drew a possible connection between cases of severe cases of insanity, mania and paranoia in veterans of the Armed Forces of the Temuair Empire and secretive experiments supposedly conducted during the late 1960's into the 1970's involving research into methods to reduce the amount of sleep required by infantry and other combat arms forces. According to the report, ParaCell's Pharmaceuticals and Biotech division was reportedly involved with these "extended active duty" experiments, including producing autoinjectors containing serotonin to be administered to participants.
