The Royal Army of Rocha is the land component of the Royal Rochan Armed Forces and is largest of the three uniformed services of the Royal Rochan Defense Force, It is responsible for maintaining the territorial sovereignty of the Kingdom of Rocha Sur. It's mission is to take all necessary measures for the defense of the Kingdom of Rocha Sur against threatened invasion or any action directed against the independence or territorial integrity of the Kingdom or threatening to secure the life or property of citizens thereof.
The Royal Army of Rocha is the only branch of the Royal Rochan Defense Force which utilizes conscripts.
Though not considered a part of the Royal Army of Rocha, the Lumenic Legion maintains several combat formations within Rocha Sur, primarily to assist in training and developing units of the Royal Army of Rocha top. Luminerra also supplies much of the material and training utilized by the Royal Rochan Defense Force. The Lumenic Legion has been involved in low intensity counter insurgency operations in conjunction with the Royal Rochan Defense Force since 2001.
