The AV2009 Series is a Cacertian Fulmine high-speed train with tilting capability developed jointly by Alenia Industrial and Crocetto Heavy Industries for use on various lines throughout the Kingdom. The trains entered regular service in May 2009 making its maiden journey between Vichenza and Cesena.

AV2009 trains have a maximum operating speed of 300 km/h with a one degree tilt that allows them to maintain a 230 km/h speed on 2,500 m curves. They currently have the fastest acceleration rate among currently operating Fulmine trains and are capable of traveling between Vichenza and Cesena 1 hour and 4 minutes.
