The Household Legion, known in French as the Maison Légion, is a branch of the Royal Armed Forces of Saintonge and is personal escort to King Louis XX of Saintonge and Sieuxerr. With traces back to the first organized bodyguard units established in the 16th century, the modern Maison Légion is a partially armored and mechanized unit able to take to the field as well as provide bodyguard protection to the King and his family. While organized under the banner of the armed forces, overall ownership and command is still through the House of Bourbon as it is the military force of the house itself.

It is organized under the lines of a Departmental Legion, which first appeared in the New Army Organization plan of 1815 in the end of the 1799 Sieuxerrian Revolution and the establishment of the Kingdom of Saintonge.
