Kuribayashi Arms is a domestic arms manufacturer based in Contwaraburg, Brytene. It provides much of the firearm technology and munitions used by the Confederate Brytisc Fleet. The company is wholly owned by the Kuribayashi clan.

History

The Kuribayashi family, immigrants from what is now Chilokver, have been producing weapons and armour for centuries. The Kuribayashi Workshop was first recorded in 601AD, when the Reeve of Lundene entered into his tithe tallies the annual rents of one Tadamichi Kuribayashi, who he described in his notes as full smiþcræftiga", or 'truly skilled at smithing'.

Throughout the centuries the Kuribayashi brand of steel was highly prized, and several famous warriors and rulers bore Kuribayashi blades. By the 11th century, the Kuribayashi workshop had relocated to Contwaraburg in order to take advantage of the rich ore trade there, and by the 14th century the workshop was listed as having almost one hundred employees, a huge number for the time.

Kuribayashi Arms produced the Kuribayashi Bolt-Action and the Kuribayashi Machine Gun, the two primary infantry weapons of the Brytisc Fleet during the First Atlasian Great War. Since then, they have remained at the forefront of personal firearm development, producing a range of equipment such as the KA-P7 handgun and other weapons in widespread use with the Fleet.

Formation

Kuribayashi Arms is a privately owned company, held entirely by the Kuribayashi clan. The firm also holds a 20% stake in IDAItech, having provided start-up capital and mentoring to the young Tony Idai. Recent talks with the Chilokveri conglomerate Apple Inc. in 2014 have to led to greater cooperation and discussion between the two companies.

Operations

Kuribayashi Arms is a comparatively small company. The majority of its production process is automated, with the staff mostly working on R&D, Quality Control, Sales and Public Relations. Kuribayashi Arms has its headquarters and a large factory complex in Contwaraburg, with a sales office in Lundene.

Products

Kuribayashi Arms primarily produces personal firearms, though it occasionally makes ceremonial weapons and custom pieces to order. They also supply the Lantern Guard
