The Jersha are an ethnic group native to Jershaland. The language spoken by a vast majority of Jersha is English, although the native Jersha language is spoken by a small minority. The Jersha language is considered by some linguists to be a language isolate, although others consider it an independent branch of the Indo-European languages. It is spoken by fewer than 500,000, being replaced in everyday life by English and usually only spoken in rural areas.
