Heimo Järvinen (13 March 1905 - 28 June 1992) was a Valkean engineer and industrialist. He is best known for founding the Sidus Motor Company, a Valkean manufacturer of volume passenger cars based in Vuornaa, Valkea.
Early life
Järvinen was born on 13 March 1905 in the town of Kuivasalmi, Suurilaakso; 31 kilometers southeast of Novika. His father was a farmer while his mother was a weaver. When he was 5 years old, his fascination for machinery and invention was fostered when a car passed through the town for the first time. Since then, his main interests as a child were to take things apart and put them back together to see how they worked.
