The National Assembly is the unicameral legislature of the State of Kipan, established with the formation of the nation's first constitution. Members are selected by their respective parties and voters select the party at the ballot box. The term of each member is 4 years but they can run as many times as they wish. The party with the largest contingent in the chamber are given the majority and with it, the Speakership. The leader of the next-largest party not in the Government is the Leader of the Opposition. The National Assembly is located in Miyako, across from the Administration Building.
