Origins
Kaldari Prime home to one of the most Intelligent races in the entire galaxy. Though the name of it's native species is unknown their greatest achievement plagues the galaxy to this very day. Beginning as simple plant life no different than the kind you would see on the wayside their potential was what caught the attention of the natives. They soon began experiments on the plant. What they found remains unknown only the fact that it was enough for them to continue their research. Over time the experimentation soon brought forth a hybrid variant of the plant that emphasized its need to grow and absorb materials. Though the reason for this tampering unknown the results were far from what they had expected. Over the course of a single solar cycle the plant grew exponietaly engulfing the facility it was held in. With no warning the the plant grew beyond anything anymore would imagine and in a matter of hours the whole planet was covered. No amount of warning was fast enough the annouced the horror that befell Kaldari Prime and once there was nothing more to engluf the plant laid dormant for a time. During this time it is said that the plant had abosrbed the minds of its victims and in some sort of sick twisted humor it took on the name of those that created it. Now it looks towards the stars yerning for more to absorb.
Recent Analysis
The Kaldari have begun to stir. Over the course of their dormancy they have managed to send messages into space but they all lack decernable meaning. All that can be heard is static. On the planet itself there are small pockets of green lights trailing across the surface. All detailed investigations to the planet's surface were never heard from again.
