Charity work
It has 6,000 schools (including both primary and secondary schools) across various countries. It also pays scholarships to 110,000 students from poor backgrounds, mostly university scholarships and provides tutoring to over 2,000 disadvantaged children.

Controversy
The Khan Foundation is controversial in some Western countries due to the facts that it makes the Hijab part of the uniform in it's secondary schools and that it teaches that concepts such as Ghayrah are part of Islam.
