The Battle off Gloria Regis was a naval battle of the Deadoran War fought between forces of navies of Vionna-Frankenlisch and the Allies. The Imperial Reserve Fleet of Vionna-Frankenlisch was intercepted and defeated by naval forces of New Edom and Shrailleen. Despite possessing a superiority in capital ships, the fleet of Admiral Alfred Longstaff was outmanouvred by the Edomite fleet of Admiral Hiram Tophek and the Shrailleeni Gloria Regis Fleet. In an action which lasted from dusk until midnight, the light squadrons of Longstaff's fleet were almost entirely destroyed while his cruisers and capital ships successfully escaped under cover of darkness. The defeat was a major embarrassment in Frankenlisch but did not contribute heavily to the outcome of the war, which was mostly decided on land.
