Baek Myung-hee, (Anikatian: 백명희; born 17 March 1950) is the 6th and former President of Anikatia, he served from the 15 October 2010 until the 14 November 2014.
Early life
President Baek was born in Chengsaeon, a city in north east part of the island state North Kwontyani bordering South Kwontyani. His father is Baek Tae-suk, a retired air force mechanic, and his mother is Baek In-suk.
Education
Baek studied Economics at the Tali Institute. During his graduate education, he studied for two years in Oured, D.A. in the United Republic of Emmeria.
Entry into politics
Baek became acquainted with right-wing politics early during his university education, in the United Republic of Emmeria.
Presidency
On 15 October 2010, he was elected president in the third round of voting; in the first two rounds, a two-thirds majority of MPs had been required, but in the third round he needed only a simple majority. Baek was sworn in immediately thereafter. His presidency has been described as a "new era in Anikatian politics", for being the first strongly right-wing president of Anikatia.
