Muhammed Demir was a Sharifistani prison officer who worked in City of Industry Central Prison from the 30th June 2021 till his death in the 16th of September 2021. His death during alleged prison riots is notable.

Early life and education

Born in 1998, the son of then Private Ali Demir (Royal City of Industry Rifles) and Aisha Demir. He wanted to join the Army from the age of 12 (when his father was a Sergeant) and would often tell other students about his father's Distinguished Gallantry Medal. At school he enjoyed Cadets, woodwork and sports, his older brother (Mehmet Demir) was Captain of the school football when he was 15 which motivated Ahmed Demir to do well at football. His brother transferred from the Royal City of Industry Rifles to the Rehabilitative Training Corps inspiring him to join that corps after basic training at the age of 16.

Military Service

He did 2 years of training as a correctional soldier before becoming a Lance-Corporal in the Rehabilitative Training Corps, he served in military prisons across Sharifistan until 2021 when was promoted to Corporal and stationed at City of Industry Military Men's Prison. He was well-liked by his superiors and colleagues and even respected by many incarcerated soldiers.

Prison officer

He became a Prison Officer at City of Industry Central Prison, working there for about 6 months before being found dead in mysterious circumstances.

Personal life

He married Meryem Ibn Ali Demir in 2018, in 2020 they had a son named Ali Demir after his father.
