Kidon (כידון), bayonet or "tip of the spear") is the name of a department within Bankampar's Mossad that is allegedly responsible for the execution of opponents. Kidon is suspected of being behind a number of successful assassination campaigns, such as the Operation Secure Tomorrow campaign. Given the secret nature of the unit, there is almost no reliable information available.
Unconfirmed claims
The Kidon is described by Yaakov Katz as "an elite group of expert assassins who operate under the paramilitary branch of the espionage organization. Not much is known about this mysterious unit, details of which are some of the most closely guarded secrets in the Bankampari intelligence community." The unit only recruits from "former soldiers from the elite BDF special force units".
In addition to counter terrorist operations, the Kidon unit can also operate in other capacities in order to assist the needs of the Mossad.

| Operation Secure Tomorrow | The Kidon (Hebrew: the tip of the spear) is Bankampar's most secretive Tier One Special Forces unit, made up of members from each of the three branches. Their mission on Operation: Secure Tomorrow was to breach Dokka Omar's compound, and either kill or capture him. Fourteen Kidon operators went into the compound where they met heavy resistance in the form of twenty-one Haqq Insurgents. The elite operators were able to clear the exterior of insurgents. When they went inside, they met more enemies and had to fight hand-to-hand at times with the insurgents. Once they reached the second floor, they moved into Omar's room where Maj. Boris Yaakov the former Sayeret Matkal operator fired three bullets from his assault rifle into the chest of the terrorist, killing him. |
