Bernard Jack Porter (April 9, 1969 - June 1, 2020) was an American politician, marine corps general, and domestic terrorist who served as the 26th United States Secretary of Defense under the administration of President Arnold Wolf. He was a candidate for President of the United States in the 2020 United States Presidential Election (LOTF RP) in the Republican Primary, winning several states but ultimately losing to former North Carolina Governor Nathaniel Richardson. After inciting a stampede and committing arson in downtown Atlanta during the protests triggered after the death of Marlon Ward, Porter secluded himself in a bunker with several fanatical supporters and engaged in a standoff with agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms. Several ATF agents were killed in the ensuing raid and Porter committed suicide via explosives rather than be taken prisoner, killing Agents Oszkár Lenard and Alton Aadams in the process.
