This is a list of Hoterallian inventions and discoveries. The Hoterallian have made contributions across a number of scientific and technological domains ever since their trade withe the world. In particular, the country has played a crucial role in the 20th century, with many modern revolutionary and widespread technologies in fields such as electronics and robotics introduced by Hoterallian inventors and entrepreneurs. Even though slowing down ever since the 2000s, Hoterallia still progress.

Arts

Monoga (物画)

The origin of the Hoterallian style comics of Monoga dating back to the 11th Century when multiple artists began to draw multiple small pictures that interconnect to each one another to form a storyline, it is believed they represent the basis for the right-to-left reading style as well. During the Imperial Era (1578-1939), the first monoga, Santō Samaru's "'Story of A Blacksmith'", was released in 1788, ushering a new form of story telling. Until the 20th Century, monoga became famous worldwide.

Anime

Hoterallian animation, or anime, today widely popular both in Hoterallia and abroad, began in the early 20th century. The very first instance of Anime dating back to 1908, with Suichi Kouchi's "'A Foolish Fighter'", a story about a drunk man trying to fight townspeople around him and ended up getting knocked down, the film lasted only 3 minutes and it helped building the foundation of Anime.

Pocket calculator

The very first pocket calculator appeared in Hoterallia in the 1970s, the invention later went outside to the world

Military

Gatling gun

The Gatling gun was designed and invented by inventor Dr. Tetsuya Watanabe in 1863 and patented on September 3, 1864. Tetsuya wrote that he created it to reduce the size of armies and so reduce the number of deaths by combat and disease.

Transportation

Bullet train

The world's first high volume capable, "high-speed train" was Hoterallia's Oracloer Shōmei Boruto, which officially opened in December 1971, with construction commencing in June 1966. Today, large cities in Hoterallia are filled with bullet trains.
