The Amathian Arcilucan-Solarian Church, also known as the Amathian Church United with Solaria, is a sui iuris church in full union with the Solarian Catholic Church. It is autonomous, with the rank of a Patriarchate, led by a Bishop-Patriarch who also has the rank of Cardinal, and while it is theologically aligned with all the positions of the Catholic Church, it continues to use the Arcilucan rite in its services. It was founded in the 17th century under Gaullican-Catholic pressure against the Episemialist bishops and communities in the region of Solaria, part of which negotiated and accepted an agreement with the Catholic Church that became known as the Act of Union of Sedonia.
