The Federal Security Office, abbreviated FSO, is the domestic intelligence and security agency for Fratanica. The agency is under the Ministry of Justice. The FSO headquarters are located in the city of Verner, located in the northeastern part of Fratanica. The agency has been led by Arnold Leone since 2020, appointed by President Lukas Wolf.

Established in 1973 in response to a rise in both foreign espionage and organized crime, the Federal Security Office is in charge of national security and counterespionage affairs, as well as coordination of criminal investigations between federal and local governments. When formally requested by a province, the Federal Security Office may take over in criminal investigations, particularly in large-scale criminal cases. The agency also partakes in international cooperation and coordination, either when requested by another government or when the case involves a Fratanican citizen.
