The Texan Civil War is an ongoing armed conflict within the People's Republic of Texas between the People's Republic of Texas and the Texan Republican Army over control of the Texan state. The war is a direct result of the Communist Party of Texas' takeover and dissolution of the Texan Confederacy in 1991, along with industrial nationalization and tax increases in 1992.
