Lyshaks (Lyshak: Lyshatsy/Лишацi) are a Sclavonic people prodeminantly living in their homeland Chokashia as well as Tudonia. The group's dialect or speech is known as the Lyshak language. The Lyshaks share many cultural traits with the rest of the peoples of Northwest Asura. They are predominantly adherents of Alydianism by religion.
Ethnology
In the 19th century, the Lyshak national identity was manifested, with awareness of history and tradition, medieval heritage, cultural unity, despite living under different kingdoms. Through their history the Lyshaks are strongly related to Chokashians who are considered to be brothers of Lyshaks in Lyshak folklore. Historically Lyshaks are connected with the forests and highlands of the Northern and Northwestern Chokashia. Their ethnonym means literally translates into "Woodlanders" but they are also sometimes called Gorals which means "Highlanders".
