Arravre is one of Zitasso's 4 states. Arravre is located in northwest Zitasso. It borders Avergnon to it's west, the Lansfelsen mountain range acting as the divider. It's capital of Agiorni is the second most populous state in Zitasso and Arravre as a whole is the largest state in Zitasso by both population and size, being slightly larger than Vamora. Arravre is also home to the 7th and 9th largest cities in the nation.

The Zitassan north is very industrialized, with Arravre especially being a center of industry, though with the recent automation of factories and the decrease in the importance of the coal and steel industries Arravre's economy has began struggling, losing a lot of population to neighboring regions, it is home to the rust strip, a region of northwestern Zitasso which has suffered industrial decline in the last few decades.

Etymology

Arravre is named for the Arravre Kingdom which existed from 1183-1638, the Arravre Kingdom was named for King Arravre I who conquered almost all of modern day north Zitasso before his death and the subsequent division of his kingdom among his sons.

History

For several centuries Zitasso was divided amongst several small kingdoms, and Arravre was no different for a long time. The Arravre Kingdom rose in the late 12th century, bringing most of modern day Arravre under it's control, though it was split into several smaller nations upon the death of Arravre I the culture and customs of the Kingdom were still highly influential over the next few centuries.

Arravre was one of the last regions to fall upon the invasion of Avergnon, the 1638 Siege of Agiorni was the deathblow for the Arravran Kingdom, with the rest of the region falling soon after.
