The courts of Byennordvest follow a hierarchical pattern, the judiciary of Byennordvest is msde up of the supreme court, the court of appeal, the high court, the civil court and the criminal court. The Byeansk courts are responsible for upholding the laws of Byennordvest which is held in the Byeansk constitution.

Courts

The structure of the Byeansk judiciary is hierarchical with the supreme court being the highest echelon. The supreme court of Byennordvest is located in the nation's capital Byennorde and is the hoghest court of justice in Byennordvest. Judges are appointed by the Monarchy of Byennordvest and is advised on appointments by a government appointment board. The civil courts of Byennordvest deals with local disputes and are heard before a jury. The criminal court deals with Byennordvest's few criminal cases.

Law

The law of Byennordvest has been in place since 1800 and was ammended by Henry Ruufmas in 1967.

It was signed by Grand Duchess Laria the Fourteenth in 1968. The Byeansk judiciary and the legal system of Byennordvest is set up by the constitution. In terms of international law, international laws are not part of the domestic law of Byennordvest unless approved by the Byeansk Stortrigesknet. The supreme court has the ability to review treaties signed by the Byeansk state.

Judges are appointed by the Monarchy of Byennordvest who appoints judges on the recomemdation of a board set uo by the Byeansk government.
