Rosie Jones is a former Vionna-Frankenlischian football player, soldier, and mercenary. Currently she is a writer and sports journalist. She played for three Vionna-Frankenlischian clubs as a striker, making 71 appearances and scoring 23 goals. This remarkable achievement makes her the most successful female player in VFL history. She is the only woman to have ever served as an NCO in the Prodavan Golden Cobras Brigade. An unwitting participant in the Prodavan Scarlet Coup of 1974, she later became a mercenary in the Uli Schywz and served in Krasny-Volny.

Born in Gestoria to working-class parents, Rosie was a skilled athlete from youth and achieved strong grades in school. On her seventeenth birthday she played her first professional football match in her only appearance for St Edmunds Electrical. During a National Cup match against rivals Gestoria Aviation, Rosie was subbed on at half-time to replace an injured striker, scoring the winner. She gained the unwanted attention of Statsec by quoting banned literature in the post-match celebrations and a tutor (secretly a Statsec informant) discovered a stash of prohibited books and evidence that Rosie listened to banned pirate radio broadcasts. Helped by her father, Rosie fled Vionna-Frankenlisch for Marienberg, then a semi-autonomous republic.
