Falcao (also known as Falcao Island or Anatieum) is the southernmost island of the Veridian Islands and a overseas territory belonging to Riccary.

Geography

Falcao is the southernmost island of the Veridian Islands.

The island is 159.2 km2 (61.5 sq mi) in size. It rises to an elevation of 852 m (2,795 feet) in Intaba ye-Inrerow Atamein (Mount Inrerow Atamein).

The island is only home to a few settlements, famous amongst them Wilbertoord, the port that was settled by the Riccards when they found the islands in the 1790s.

Population

The 2021 population is estimated to be around 1,500. Historians argue that before Riccard interaction that the island had a population exceeding 10,000 but due to introduced foreign disease brought with the colonisers, it likely killed off a majority of the population of natives on the island.

History
