The current Freician honours system was initially formalised through the Law on National Honours of the Country of Freice on 29 September 2021, which replaced the abolished traditional nobility with a republican honours system.

The honours system consists of a number of titles, orders, decorations, and medals, which are awarded by the Senior Council and the Nuejel for distinguished service to the Freician nation. They may be granted to any citizen of Freice and to people with foreign citizenship or without any citizenship, after being nominated by government officials. Individuals may also be honored posthumously with national awards.
