Marick Verster was a Baanbreken Economic Philosopher who is famous for his Versteren Economic School of thought and being one of the founders of the Verster-Heyns Economic Society (Vrypraatjie: Verster-Heyns Ekonomiese Samelewing). Publishing many books around his economic philosophy, Verster was widely influential in Kleinberg, but also in other capitalist countries. Described as 'extreme', Verster's beliefs were strongly against any state interventionism in the economy.
