Deseret (ProtoTimeline)

Deseret (Deseret script: 𐐔𐐯𐑅𐐨𐑉𐐯𐐻), officially the State of Deseret (Deseret script: 𐐝𐐻𐐩𐐻 𐐲𐑂 𐐔𐐯𐑅𐐨𐑉𐐯𐐻), is a landlocked sovereign nation in western North America, sharing land borders with Texas to the east, Cascadia to the north, California to the west, and Sonora to the south. The country was born in the 19th century following the rise of Mormonism and the birth of the Mormons, an ethnoreligious group unique to the country which shares Mormonism as a religion.
