2022 Republican-Federalist Party Presidential Primary

Presidential primaries and caucuses are organized by the Republican-Federalist Party to select the 1,589 pledged delegates to the 2020 Republican-Federalist National Convention to be held on April 15-17 to determine the parties nominee for President of Lithassa in the 2022 Lithassan Presidential Election.

Incumbent president Klaudio Angela, who was the parties nominee in the 2018 election has announced his intention to not run for re-election in 2022.

By January 2021 9 candidates had entered the race but after a few debates all but two dropped out, conservative TV personality and great-grandson of president Appolon Pachis Yiannis Pachis, and senator Alberto Neri.

Background

795 delegates are required to secure the nomination, each state is given a certain amount of delegates based on population, in order to win delegates in a state a candidate must win at least 15%. Delegates are awarded based on proportional representation.
