Products

Wotan Legende

Wotan's first 4K-capable camera, the Wotan Legende was released in 2017. The Super 35-sized Wotan V sensor records up to 4096x2160 pixels. The updated Wotan Legende II, released in 2020, added support for 5K recording.

Wotan Spitzer

The Wotan Spitzer, released in 2012, was the first Radictistani designed and manufactured camera with an Super 35-sized active pixel sensor, the Wotan IV. The camera records digital video at up to 2880x2160 (2.8K) resolution. Since 2019 the Spitzer has been manufactured with a system-on-a-chip designed in Radictistan by Barking-based Virtuelle Designs.

Wotan Zwei

Released in 2010, The Wotan Zwei was the first Wotan camera to allow 2.8K (2880x1440) image capture using the Super 16-width Wotan II sensor. Current production cameras utilize the Wotan III sensor. Despite being largely supplanted in major film productions by the Wotan Spitzer, the Wotan Zwei is still commonly used in television productions and complements the Spitzer in situations where the smaller size of the older camera is useful.

Wotan Eins

Wotan Bildwerke’s first camera, the Wotan Eins, was the first digital movie camera manufactured in Radictistan. The Wotan I sensor allowed 1920x1080 video capture. The Wotan Eins was released in 2008 and discontinued four years later.

Wotan RAW

Wotan Raw is Wotan Bildwerk's proprietary raw image format (RAW) codec provided as output from the Wotan Zwei and Wotan Spitze cameras. Wotan Raw stores a 12-bit readout from each of the three color channels per each pixel of the camera's image sensor (8,847,360 pixels for the Wotan V sensor).
