The Pachis family is a Lissathan political family from Mozoli whose members have included one president and various merchants, bankers, politicians, lawyers, inventors, clergymen, artists, and socialites. The family was a small noble family originating from the 14th century. By the 19th century they had lost most of their noble titles but were still a rich and affluent family, the Pachis family came to much greater notability when Appolon Pachis lead a republican revolution against the monarchy and was later elected president of Lissatha, with several family members later launching campaigns for office.
