The Empire is a unitary state that is a delegated government with the framework of a federal monarchy led by a single emperor or empress. The Emperor acts as the head of government that acts on the advice of the Imperial Court, a group of noble families that recognize each other as legal legitimates within the Imperial Court and allow them to help in creating laws and advising the Emperor. The delegated governments of the Imperial North, Imperial South, Imperial West and Imperial East are created initially by the Emperor using an apointee that is sent by the Imperial Court and afterwards delegates the responsibility of creating the government to that apointee. The judiciary of the Empire, the First Court of Imperials, is considered somewhat independent. Members are elected as representatives of their Subtribe by the Imperial Court.
